In order to be able to add content to Scribas, you need to be registered. Even without signing up, you can still enjoy the memory-related content posted by other Scribas members.

Registering at Scribas couldn't be simpler. Simply go to our Register page and complete the form with your desired username and your e-mail address.

Share Memories

Scribas is about memories: the nostalgia of the happy childhood, the favorite TV show or advertisement that you don't see anymore, the grainy picture of how your town's Main Street looked in the early 1960s, the recollection of what your favorite candy bar tasted like on the walk back from school.

We provide many ways in which you can share your memories with others.

Flashbacks

Our Flashbacks section includes some great video, photo and audio content: "Oh, I remember that!" you'll say as our Flashbacks take you back to the TV show you loved, a long-forgotten soda pop commercial or an aerial photo of your hometown from five decades ago.

Scribas Blogs

Each Scribas member has a blogs, full of recollections, stories and anecdotes from their past and present. The blogs on Scribas are full of memories of childhood, the family home, the first school and much more. You can categorize your blog entries with tags and add a photo to each.

Icons

Our Icon section celebrates all the great cultural icons that mark each decade. From Frisbees to Rubik's Cubes, mini skirts to the Walkman, this is where you'll find those objects you reminisce about most often.

Hubs

Hubs on Scribas offer members a chance to join together in a mini-community and share content with all members of the same Hub. Hubs can be about your town, your sports team, school or favorite TV show. Pages from all over Scribas can be attached to each Hub.

Find Others

One of the most satisfying aspects of sharing your memories on Scribas is finding long-lost friends, work colleagues, military companions and school buddies.

We have a powerful search facility on Scribas that will allow you to search for members by school, by town, by university and much more besides.

Your Profile

We encourage all our members to fill out their profile as this will enable you to find other Scribas members who share things in common with you: same hometown, same state/country, same school or college and so on. It will also allow those same members to find you more easily too.

Forum

Our forum is where our members exchange tales and ask questions relating to memories. Who was that teacher? Who used to run that bar? What store used to be opposite the bank?
