Noel Edmonds, Keith Chegwin, Maggie Philbin and John Craven presented this ground-breaking kids' tv show. Fun, music and games, and above all swapping. You'd ring up offering something in exchange for something else, for example, a set of beano comics to swap for an action man etc etc.

Great fun.

Kids at school in the UK in the 1970s/80s were either Tiswas kids or Swap Shop kids. I was the latter, I have to say. Smile

True. I seem to remember liking Swap Shop because it was a bit less chaotic, although parts of Tiswas were great, especially with Lenny Henry. My father was happy to watch it because of Sally James!

I was a swap shop kid! I tried to get rid of a broken scalextric on there and I failed miserably. eBay is so much easier! Nod
