Who is behind Scribas?

Scribas was conceived and is run by Neil Coghlan, from the UK. Neil is also a teacher and writer and currently living in Argentina.

What does the name Scribas mean?

Scribas means "scriptor" or "scribe" in Latin; one who writes down stories and memories from the past. It seemed very apt and the name stuck. Our tagline Where Memories Meet had a nice sound to it thanks to its alliteration and described a perfect combination of social community and memories.
